Shining Sun

sun is shining bright and new
never,though,as bright as you
fill my world with joy and cheer
all i need is you right here.

birdsong sounds in the morn
little cheeps of chicks just born
butterflies fly across the sky
beautiful dancers way up high.

new beginnings oh so bright
fill the earth, full of might
a will to live, a heart of gold
new ones fill in for the old.

you smile as we watch the sun
setting now; the day is done
we hold hands as the light declines
through the dark, starlight shines.
